So I've been stuck in a bit of a rut as I continue on my photography journey. For many years I've focused on street photography, but if I'm honest, I've got a little bored of it. So it's time for a fresh challenge.

The magic and mystery of the time when darkness falls is truly a time to be out on the streets. Just walk and look and thrive on being alone. There's a strange comfort in this time of day. You can feel hidden in plain sight, and we all need to do that sometimes.

It's been a while since I've managed to get out on the streets doing what I love best, abut I'm glad I am! Street photography requires persistance, balls, good comfy shoes and most of all consistency. There's no way round it, you really do just have to get and shoot until you can't anymore, then go back out again.

The decisive moment, facial expressions, gestures, telling a story, and on and on it goes. So which of these is the best way as a street photographer, one or all? I'd say it doesn't matter, and that's when my epiphany came.
The actual story the photograph tells, the real story is less important to me, I'd sooner the imagined. Who ,why, what, where are terms I like but not in a literal sense...
